Belmont Retail – September 2025

Anthem Properties and Harbour Equity have formed their first joint venture to develop a new 145,000 sf open-air retail centre at 480 210th Ave SW in Belmont, serving the 35,000 residents of the West MacLeod Area Structure Plan. Anchored by a grocery store, drug store, and liquor store, the centre will include quick-service and full-service restaurants, personal services, two drive-thrus, pad-ready sites, and a two-level childcare facility. With direct access from 210th Ave and Sheriff King St, construction began in August 2025 and delivery is slated for Summer 2027.


This marks Anthem’s third ground-up retail project in the Calgary region—following Highstreet at Cornerstone and D’Arcy Crossing in Okotoks. Anthem Properties and Harbour Equity launched Phase I of the 145,000 sf Constellation Retail Centre in Belmont—a purpose-built, open-air development designed to meet the daily needs of 35,000 local residents and support long-term community vitality.
