UPDATE: Announced today, Sunco completed the acquisition of Parkland Corporation on October 31st.
The proposed US$9.1-billion acquisition of Calgary-based Parkland Corporation by U.S.-based Sunoco LP has cleared approval under the Investment Canada Act, marking a key step toward closing. The transaction remains subject to additional regulatory approvals and closing conditions, with completion expected in Q4 2025.
