Rail giant CPKC is marketing its first nine “site-ready” logistics and industrial properties across North America—including Calgary’s 1,300-acre Shepard Logistics Centre, now rated gold status for its permitting readiness and development capacity. Located just east of the city’s ring road and within close proximity to CPKC’s intermodal ramp, this shovel-ready site is poised to support over 20 million sq. ft. of rail-served development.

With 200 transload spots, room for 100-acre+ users, and zoning in place, Shepard is being positioned as a future hub for distribution, cold storage, food processing, and advanced manufacturing. The site offers both direct rail access and intermodal connectivity, making it a strategic fit for tenants moving goods across Canada and North America via CPKC’s single-line transnational network.

As supply chains evolve and the demand for scalable, rail-integrated sites intensifies, Shepard Logistics Centre stands out as a rare, future-proofed opportunity in Calgary’s expanding logistics corridor.
