Ada Lam recently had the opportunity to attend a local high school career fair, sharing her career journey as a licensed property manager and the experiences that have shaped her path in property management.
When Ada was in high school, property management was not widely introduced as a career path or option, which is why she is now committed to giving back to the community and supporting the next generation so they can have more awareness of career opportunities and pathways to success.
Events like these provide students with an authentic look into career opportunities that offer meaningful long-term growth. It was encouraging to see so many engaged students asking thoughtful questions and exploring what their future careers could look like.
Thank you to Father Lacombe High School for organizing the event and creating this opportunity for students to connect with local professionals. We are also grateful to all the participants who committed their time and energy to speak with such an enthusiastic and engaged group of Calgary students. One final observation from the day: if you want to be a hit at career day, bringing chocolates definitely helps.
