Calgary has broken ground on Boro Block, a 196-unit below-market rental project at 11 Haddon Road SW, the former YMCA site. The six-storey development will feature retail space, a non-profit daycare, barrier-free units, and parking, with rents set at 68% of market rates. Supported through the City’s Non-Market Land Sale Program and $14.7M in funding, occupancy is expected in 2027.
